Small-Group Tutoring

Learn together. Build confidence. Grow together.

Learning alongside others can create opportunities for growth that extend beyond academics. Bloom Space's small-group tutoring sessions bring learners together in a welcoming and supportive environment where they can strengthen academic skills while also developing confidence, communication, collaboration, and positive social connections. Groups are intentionally kept small so that individual needs don't get lost within the group. Instruction and activities can be adapted to different strengths, learning styles, skill levels, and areas for growth while still allowing learners to participate in a shared experience.

More Than Group Learning

Small-group sessions provide opportunities for learners to:

  • Strengthen academic skills

  • Ask questions and share ideas

  • Learn alongside and from their peers

  • Practice communication and collaboration

  • Develop confidence participating in a group

  • Build positive social skills

  • Take healthy learning risks

  • Build independence

  • Celebrate individual and shared successes

For some learners, simply discovering that other people have questions, make mistakes, or find certain things challenging can be powerful.

Within a supportive group, learners can practice using their voice, asking for help, contributing ideas, problem-solving together, and becoming more comfortable learning alongside others.
